Valar
Valar is an exercise in sculptural lightness and spatial dialogue. Unlike traditional monolithic forms, the design is centered on the interplay between solid volumes and intentional negative space, most notably within the sweeping, open-frame armrests. These curved structural elements provide a sense of enclosure without visual weight, allowing the architecture of the room to flow through the piece. The deep, high-density cushions are suspended within this airy perimeter, creating a seating landscape that is both physically substantial and visually transparent.
