Eruca has a series of repetitive, segmental volumes that mimic the larval structures found in the natural world. By organizing the upholstery into distinct, undulating chambers, the design achieves a tactile depth that is visually perceivable from a distance. The silhouette rejects a single, flat surface in favor of a corrugated landscape, creating an interplay of shadow and highlight that emphasizes its organic origin.
